Artist's Statement
Glimmers. Tiny, easy-to-miss moments of joy and happiness in your daily life. The morning light in the garden, a ladybug taking flight, the colors of the clouds, cut flowers in a vase, a summer fruit harvest. In times of fear and division, hopelessness and sadness, I look to nature for healing and peace and hold onto these glimmers tighter than ever. When I am unsure how I can make any difference I paint my glimmers, in the hopes that they will resonate with you, too.
Artist's Bio
I am a Salt Lake City based painter committed to portraying the beauty, light and magic of Mother Nature. I work mainly in watercolor, soft pastel and gouache. I am a self-taught artist who is always striving to learn and improve by constantly taking courses and trying new techniques and materials. I have shown my work in many art festivals across the state of Utah, including the Utah Arts Festival and the St. George Arts Festival. I am inspired by the soft colors and subtle details found in the natural world and I hope you’ll feel a sense of connectedness through my paintings.

Anderson-Foothill Branch
The pleasing design of the Anderson-Foothill Branch has two unique elements as part of its plan. The first is a passive solar energy design that includes earth berming, window placement for solar heating, and zone supplemental heating/cooling. The second element of this 14,900 square foot community library built in 1985, expanded in 1992 and in 2002, is a modular design.
The Anderson-Foothill Branch has a meeting room available for public use with tables, chairs, and a projector screen. The Anderson-Foothill Branch's outdoor amphitheater is a popular location for summer concerts. Free parking is available to the north and south of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
